Americana Mondays
Transport yourself to Nashville with Americana Mondays! Enjoy top artists in the cozy club setting of M. Here, you’ll discover the superstars of tomorrow—artists like Gregory Alan Isakov and The Tallest Man on Earth have previously graced our Monday evenings. Americana is a genre that encompasses folk, blues, country, and roots-rock—essentially, all things American. The genre remains ever-popular and is embraced by generation after generation. At Americana Mondays, you’ll experience the best singer-songwriters within the genre.
Americana Mondays is ending
After twenty years and hundreds of editions, Americana Mondays will end in January 2026. In recent years, work has been done on a future-proof model for the series of country, folk, blues, and Americana concerts that originated in 2006, in collaboration with Ad van Meurs and his partner Ankie Keultjes.
The program line grew into a venue where both singer-songwriters and full bands performed, always in the intimate atmosphere of M and with an attentive audience. However, Monday evenings proved to be increasingly difficult, both in terms of audience interest and booking suitable artists. For this reason, the program line will end in its current form.
However, this does not mean that American roots music will disappear from Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. On the contrary: even after 2026, there will still be plenty of room for Americana, roots, folk, and blues within the regular programming—in the Hertog Jan Zaal, the Kleine Zaal, and in M. See above for the Americana Mondays program for the coming months. We hope to see you soon!
