MgE and ASML bring big headliners, free concert tickets and youth music programs to Eindhoven
Big headliners coming to Eindhoven
To make the cultural offerings in the Brainport Eindhoven region more attractive, the technology company will contribute to the booking of 20 international top artists for concerts at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven throughout 2024 and 2025. The first wave of the new ASML Headliners program stars classical, jazz and pop artists such as Joe Jackson, Gladys Knight, Fish, VOCES8 and the symphonic orchestra Academy of St Martin in the Fields, with many more to be announced soon.
Cultural experiences for all
To ensure these top artists are also within reach of everyone, ASML is making 1,500 concert tickets available to social partners. Foundations Quiet Eindhoven and Stichting Ik Wil are using these to provide outings to people with fewer resources.
Helping children grow with music
Building on the success from previous initiatives, ASML and Muziekgebouw Eindhoven have developed a new music program for children in the region with special attention for those with different care needs. Throughout 2024 and 2025, CultuurStation and other social organizations will invite a total of 2,500 primary school students to inspiring and educational music days. Workshops and masterclasses will be tailored by experienced music tutors to the students’ interests. The program aims to make musical education more accessible and exciting, allowing children to find out if they have a passion for music. Students with different care needs or those with fewer resources will be given priority, and the program includes transport to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven.
ASML On Stage connects Eindhoven
ASML On Stage at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven will also continue, where ASML’s best musical and artistic talents step into the spotlight together with band members from outside the company. Tickets are available to everyone for a low entry fee and include two drink vouchers. An evening where a bridge is built between the rich variety of music styles and cultures in the heart of Brainport.
Edo Righini, General Director at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven: “This exciting new partnership with ASML enables Muziekgebouw Eindhoven to further realize its mission: inspiring and connecting people through exceptional talent and world-class performances. Thanks to the support of ASML, we can substantially lower financial barriers to access, making it easier for everyone to experience the magic of music. Moreover, this partnership will allow us to engage more children in the joy and beauty of making music, nurturing the next generation of musicians and music lovers. Stay tuned for more exciting developments as we embark on this musical journey together!”
Carl Leen, Program Manager Society & Community Engagement at ASML: “Through our collaboration, we’re exploring how we can make culture even more accessible to everyone, people of all ages. While ASML On Stage is all about our employees performing with and for the community, we think it’s fantastic that we now also have a program solely dedicated to children, where the stars of tomorrow get a chance to hit the stage.”
