Philips and Muziekgebouw Eindhoven renew their partnership

Philips and Muziekgebouw Eindhoven have renewed their partnership. Through this collaboration, Philips underscores the importance of culture and its strong connection with Eindhoven.
Muziekgebouw Eindhoven is the musical heart of the city, bringing people together through a wide range of concerts, from classical and jazz to pop and world music. The partnership aligns with Philips’ ambition to remain actively involved in the cultural and social life of the Brainport region.

“Our connection to this region runs deep; since our founding, we’ve felt a strong bond with the community,” says Sylvia van Es, President of Philips Netherlands. “We see it as a natural responsibility to contribute to a region where people feel at home, find inspiration, and are given space to grow talent and creativity. Culture and music play an indispensable role in that.”

As part of the partnership, Philips employees are given the opportunity to attend concerts each quarter. This offers them a chance to unwind and connect with one another outside of work. At the same time, Philips helps strengthen Muziekgebouw Eindhoven’s role as a meeting place for the region.

“Music speaks directly to the human heart. It is a powerful means of offering connection, comfort, inspiration, and pride. That’s why we’re pleased to take a new step together with Philips to further embed this art form in our city and region,” says Edo Righini, departing General and Artistic Director of Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. “Philips plays an essential role in this region, and it is valuable that the company not only leads in technology but also invests in culture. The fact that employees can attend our concerts through this partnership fits perfectly with our mission: to make music accessible to as wide an audience as possible.”
