Hij staat bekend als ‘de hardst werkende man in de tropische muziekindustrie’: Alex Figueira. De Venezuelaans-Portugese muzikant, producer en DJ kreeg deze titel niet voor niets! Alex is namelijk ook oprichter van tropische psychpunkgroep Fumaca Preta én de afro-caribische psychedelische sensatie Conjunto Papa Upa. Stilzitten, dat doet hij in elk geval niet. En jij ook niet tijdens deze editie van Kaleidoscope! Bij de muziek van Figueira waan je je direct in een tropisch feestje. Dat feestje gaat gepaard met een muzikale cocktail van Latijns-Amerikaanse muziek, Caribische invloeden, dansbare cumbia-vibes, en elementen van funk, soul en psychedelische muziek. Vanavond bouwt Alex, samen met twee bevriende muzikanten, een dansfeest in M.
Schedule
The doors of M open at 21:00, allowing you to enjoy a drink while DJ Kaliman spins his favorite vinyl records. The concert of the Alex Figueira Trio starts at 22:00 and lasts until around 23:00. After the Alex Figueira Trio, DJ Kaliman will play for another hour to complete the evening!
