Eindje van de Week is the talk show for the Brainport region of Eindhoven. Every three weeks, hosts Mike Weerts and Hans Matheeuwsen welcome inspiring guests from politics, culture, sports, and society. Activist Mayke Weber from Dolle Mina and politician Rosa van den Nieuwenhof join the table to discuss inequality of opportunity and women’s safety. The reopening of De Wielewaal is also featured. On September 27, the estate will open its gates to visitors, with celebrations that weekend in Lichtbos Eindhoven. What is it like to live there? Eline Hintzen, great-granddaughter of Frits Philips, and resident Twan Thijssen share their stories. Baroque pop artist Daisy Bellis, who will perform at M this fall during the Popronde, provides the music. Singer-songwriter Iris Penning closes with her poetic reflection on Eindhoven’s week. Afterwards, stay for drinks to kick off your weekend—M is the perfect spot for your Friday afternoon get-together. Admission is free!
