Today, four singers from the Bachelor of Vocal Studies program at the Fontys Academy of Arts will perform the lunchtime concert. With their unique talents and passion for music, they know better than anyone how to move and captivate the audience. Ilse Schuit weaves her love of language and storytelling into music by Wagner, Thomas, and Berlioz. Suzanne Charité makes classical music more accessible with arias from Trouble in Tahiti and Cendrillon. Marialena Papadopoulou explores the connection between Mediterranean traditions and the classical repertoire, while Isabelle Jennes, an ambitious young soprano, combines her studies at Fontys Tilburg with international training programs in Padua and Stuttgart.

After the concert

A lunchtime concert wouldn’t be complete without a delicious meal. That’s why, after the performance, you can enjoy a flavorful homemade soup and freshly baked bread in the Stadsfoyer. You can order this directly with your ticket! Staying a little longer? Great!
