Pianist Iris Hond adds a new dimension to the iconic sounds of world-renowned composer Ludovico Einaudi. In addition to Einaudi’s masterpieces, the soloist will perform her own compositions. Kamerata Zuid will perform well-known works by legendary pianist-composers, such as Alexander Scriabin and Sergei Rachmaninov. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Kamerata Zuid, they are reviving this successful concert tour together with Iris Hond.
Einaudi has previously praised Iris Hond’s exceptional playing, calling it:“One of the most beautiful performances of my music.” With these words, Einaudi sealed his unique bond with Iris. During this full-length classical concert, Einaudi’s solo concerto ‘Domino’ will be performed in its entirety—a work in which Iris’s technical precision and deep soulfulness perfectly converge.
Expect an evening of unprecedented intensity, centered around the power of silence and virtuous collaboration.
