“As a pilot, I don’t have control over everything. I can manage my instruments and nerves, but not the weather. As a conductor, I control my own knowledge and musical feeling, but not the musicians; I have to trust them,” said conductor (and amateur pilot) Dima Slobodeniouk in an interview. This trust will be well-placed with the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
