Mühlfeld Trio

The Mühlfeld Trio, founded in 2022 by Erika García (clarinet), Isabel Olmo (cello), and Andrea Boga (piano), impresses with its refined musicality, attention to detail, and strong expressiveness. After meeting at the Maastricht Conservatory, they decided to explore the repertoire for this instrumentation. Since their debut in 2023 at the Maastricht Chamber Music Festival, they have performed in venues such as Theater aan het Vrijthof, Parkstad Limburg Theaters, and Piano’s Maene. Since then, the trio has collaborated with leading professors and won several awards. In 2024 and 2025, they performed in Spain, including at the Festival Internacional de Santander and the MusaE project.

This afternoon, they will be performing at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven with their program Volksgeist, which refers to the ‘spirit of the people’, a concept that states that culture, music, and traditions reflect the identity of a community. In this concert, they want to bring the audience closer to that idea by showing through music how the composers chosen for this program have captured the essence of their people. By integrating folkloric elements, each selected work connects the listener with the country, language, and experiences of the people who inspired these melodies.
