The Mühlfeld Trio, consisting of Erica Garcia (clarinet), Giovanni Landini (cello), and Andrea Boga (piano), emerged from a close collaboration during their studies at the Conservatorium Maastricht. Their shared passion for chamber music and their ambition to convey this repertoire with honesty and conviction formed the foundation of the ensemble. They made an impression during the Opening Concert of the Night of Classical Music and performed at the Maastricht Chamber Music Festival, where they had the opportunity to play on historical instruments. The trio was awarded early on with distinctions, including the First Prize at the XVII National Chamber Music Competition ‘Villa de Cox’ and the Second Prize at the Arnuero International Chamber Music Competition.

Lunchtime concerts
Our lunchtime concerts are a delight to experience: both literally and figuratively! Taking a break in the middle of the day to relax for an hour with a nice concert in the Small Hall really makes the day feel refreshing. From piano recitals to chamber music and brass ensembles, the offerings are varied and innovative. Since we believe that emerging talent deserves a platform, our lunchtime concerts feature (recently graduated) students, competition winners, and other promising gems.
