Take a break right in the middle of the festival and unwind surrounded by music. During this intimate lunchtime concert, Nancy Zeltsman brings together students from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and the Chopin University of Music for an acoustic and deeply personal experience. Together, they will perform music from Zeltsman’s album “Drinking Water”—intimate and crystal clear. No grand stage, no fuss; just the marimba and a room full of listeners. You don’t need to know anything about percussion to come and enjoy. Drop in during your lunch break, stay for the whole set, and let it become the most relaxing hour of your day.
After the concert
A lunchtime concert is, of course, not complete without a delicious lunch. After the concert, enjoy a flavorful homemade soup and freshly baked bread in the Stadsfoyer. You can add this directly to your ticket!

Lunchtime concerts
Our lunchtime concerts are a delight to experience: both literally and figuratively! Taking a break in the middle of the day to relax for an hour with a nice concert in the Small Hall really makes the day feel refreshing. From piano recitals to chamber music and brass ensembles, the offerings are varied and innovative. Since we believe that emerging talent deserves a platform, our lunchtime concerts feature (recently graduated) students, competition winners, and other promising gems.
