As a street musician, Korean-American blues poet Nat Myers sought to earn some extra money after the pandemic broke out. When Myers began sharing his music on social media, he quickly caught the attention of Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys. This led to the recording of his debut album, Yellow Peril, which is infused with blues and folk but with a contemporary twist. The album reflects Myers’ journey across America and his search for his cultural identity. Additionally, the record is a tribute to blues legends like Robert Johnson and Lead Belly. Myers keeps their spirit alive while sharing his own voice and message.
