Are you curious about how an orchestra rehearsal unfolds? Or what a conductor says to the musicians? What is worked on during a rehearsal? Then visit a public rehearsal of Philzuid and experience the interaction between the conductor and the orchestra! Several times a year, the orchestra opens its doors for a public rehearsal. You will get a close-up look at the rehearsal process and hear how the concert program is practiced. This week, you will meet French conductor Samy Rachid, former cellist of the Arod Quartet and assistant conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He has worked with leading orchestras and won the Neeme Järvi Prize at the Gstaad Conducting Academy.
