Sha‑La‑Lees is a band that immediately creates its own unique atmosphere: raw, warm and gritty. The group is led by Cedric Maes, who, following his time with the legendary underground cult band El Guapo Stuntteam and The Sore Losers, found exactly the freedom his music demanded. He is surrounded by a tight-knit line-up whose members complement each other effortlessly. Drummer Ries Doms provides the solid foundation, bassist Kevin Maenen gives the songs their power and drive, and Christophe Vaes adds a distinctive, recognisable touch with his harmonica. In 2025, Hex!, their third album, was released. A record that showcases just how naturally energetic this band now sounds!
