JamCrew
JamCrew is a group of Polish musicians living in the Netherlands, brought together by a shared love for live music. We organize open jam sessions and karaoke nights where everyoneโs welcome. We play covers of Polish rock and recently began working on our own original songs. For the second year, weโre proud to join Witaj Eindhoven!, bringing good energy, strong community spirit, and music that connects. Whether you want to sing, play, or just enjoy the vibe โ JamCrew invites you to be part of something real.

Ewa Pepper
Ewa Pepper is far from your typical classical violinist; her soulful playing style cuts straight to the heart through its intense emotionality, which she masterfully channels into inventive improvisations. Regardless of genre, she unveils her deep passion through breathtaking, compelling, and expressive violin sounds. Her active presence in the music world is marked by thrilling collaborations with top musicians, prominent contributions to major recordings, and countless successful performances. From the Amsterdam Dance Event to NATO headquarters, from the Rijksmuseum to Defqon.1 Festival, and from Glastonbury Festival to the Concertgebouw: Ewaโs unique versatility resonates in everything she does.

Dance group Syrena
The Polish song and dance group Syrena from Brunssum was founded in 1957, emerging from the community of Polish emigrants who came to work in the coal mines around Heerlen (South Limburg) in the early 20th century. Even today, a large part of the group consists of children from the 3rd, 4th, and 5th generations of these emigrants. Syrena offers a dazzling and colourful introduction to Polish folklore. Dressed in beautiful, authentic costumes from various regions of Poland, the group presents a feast for the eyes and ears. Thanks to the wide variety of traditional clothing, dance styles, and music, their performance remains captivating from start to finish. The group is led by Yvonne Rodenburg-Cierniak, who, together with Stefan Cierniak and Dariusz Rodenburg, provides artistic direction. Yvonne received her training in Poland itself.

Kamila de Jager-Andrukiewicz
Book presentation
A unique guide to Dutch culture, traditions and everyday life, written especially for Polish migrants. During this presentation, Kamila de Jager-Andrukiewicz shares the story behind the book, fun facts, and surprising aspects of life in the Netherlands. There will be time for questions, a personal chat, and of course the opportunity to get a signed copy. Be inspired by stories of integration, curiosity and cultural contrasts โ told with a wink and a warm heart.

Kapela Banachy
Kapela Banachy is a folk band from Heerlen. We mainly play traditional music from the northern part of the Carpathians, particularly from southern Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary. Our repertoire includes lively, high-energy polkas as well as melancholic, virtuosic czardas tunes. What matters most to us is the joy we feel when playing this music and that joy is clearly visible on stage! From time to time, weโre joined by family and friends during our performances for a little extra support.

Polskie Gniazdo Band
Polskie Gniazdo Band is a vibrant group of seven vocalists, founded in 2023 from a shared love of music. United from different parts of the Netherlands, they aim to delight the Polish community with iconic Polish hits. After a rigorous audition, the group formed with a clear mission: to spread joy through music. Their performances blend emotion, nostalgia, and energy, offering unforgettable experiences. Polskie Gniazdo Band continues to refine its repertoire, creating a musical home for Polish hearts in the Netherlands.

Ewa Niepokulczycka
Book presentation
Ewa Niepokulczycka has lived in the Netherlands for over thirty years and writes powerful stories about labour migration, identity, and human resilience. As a reintegration coach and someone with lived experience, she knows the world of migrant workers from the inside out. Her book Z deszczu pod rynnฤ (โOut of the Frying Pan into the Fireโ) is a mosaic of true-to-life stories about Polish labour migrants in the Netherlands. Through raw yet compassionate scenes, she captures their hopes, disappointments, and determination. The book reveals how dreams can clash with exploitation โ but also how friendship, humour, and perseverance endure. Z deszczu pod rynnฤ is now also available as an audiobook, narrated by professional Polish voice actors. This book is for anyone who wants to see the human side of labour migration โ from professionals in the field to readers with Polish roots.
