What does Eindhoven sound like when the whole world makes music together? Discover it all at De Markt. From Turkish and Indian sounds to Polish folk music, Caribbean rhythms and Latin American influences, this afternoon is a celebration of the cultural richness of our city. Artists, choirs, bands and dancers from different communities will take you on a musical journey around the world, with each culture sharing its own unique story.

Your World Your Music is an initiative by Muziekgebouw Eindhoven that uses music to bring people from different backgrounds together. In collaboration with ambassadors from various communities, we create programmes that reflect their cultures, traditions and musical heritage. This has led to the creation of events such as Merhaba Eindhoven, Witaj Eindhoven, Bladi Festival and Hola Eindhoven, all of which have become an integral part of Muziekgebouw Eindhoven’s programme.

During De Opening, all these worlds come together on one stage. Listen, dance, discover new music and celebrate the cultural diversity that makes Eindhoven so special.
