The Arpemus Trio is a new classical ensemble featuring three international talents: flutist Martha Gkolia (Greece), clarinetist Xiaozhou Zhou (China), and harpist Liselotte de Nooijer (The Netherlands). They share a passion for classical music and explore the sound colors and nuances of their instruments together. They recently won the Audience Award at the Nico Vis Chamber Music Competition. Inspired by their diverse cultural backgrounds, they choose repertoire that aligns with their shared artistic vision. The trio performs works by composers such as Jacques Ibert, Elizabeth Poston, Howard Blake, Robert Muczynski, and Pearl Chertok, bringing the melodies to life with harmony and balance.

Lunchtime Concerts
Our lunchtime concerts are a delight to experience—both literally and figuratively! Taking a break in the middle of the day to relax for an hour with a nice concert in the Small Hall really makes the day feel refreshing. From piano recitals to chamber music and brass ensembles, the offerings are varied and innovative. Since we believe that emerging talent deserves a platform, our lunchtime concerts feature (recently graduated) students, competition winners, and other promising gems.
