Elvis Costello is one of the most influential singer-songwriters of his generation. With his debut album “My Aim Is True”, the British artist immediately put himself on the map, after which he further developed his distinctive sound together with The Attractions. Since the early 2000s, he has been performing with The Imposters, the band that emerged from The Attractions. Costello has written more than six hundred songs for himself as well as for artists such as Paul McCartney, Johnny Cash, Tony Bennett and his wife Diana Krall, and has released over thirty-five albums in which he effortlessly moves between rock, pop, soul and country. This summer, after fourteen years, he returns to MgE with The Imposters and guitarist Charlie Sexton with a show centered around his early repertoire, featuring classics such as “Watching the Detectives,”, “I Want You,” “Alison,” “Man Out Of Time,” and “Brilliant Mistake.”
