Magnetic Spacemen deliver a raw mix of garage rock, surfy post-punk and rock ’n’ roll, with infectious songs and an energetic live show full of unexpected twists. Their album ‘Papoya Poya’ (2021) was widely praised in the Dutch press and named Garage Rock Album of the Year. With performances at festivals such as Left of The Dial, Hit The City, Sniester, Dauwpop and Zwarte Cross, and support shows for bands like Fidlar and Together Pangea, Magnetic Spacemen have also made a name internationally, playing in France, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria and Germany. Their fourth album, ‘Carousel’, was released last year and thematically revolves around life itself. If you’re new to the band, think of acts like Oh Sees, Parquet Courts, DEVO and The Stooges.
