Last year, Jana Mila flew to Nashville with a hefty collection of self-written songs and came back with a dream debut and a record deal with New West Records. This renowned American label gave her complete freedom to work on her debut album ‘Chameleon’ with producer Todd Lombardo (Kacey Musgraves) and legendary musicians. Ilse DeLange, who discovered Jana in 2020, also contributed to the album. The record has roots in pop and is woven with the soulful storytelling and acoustic atmosphere that characterize Americana. Inspired by artists such as Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow, Julia Jacklin, Carly Simon, and Phoebe Bridgers, her strong lyrics and surprising melodies are a delight to the ear.
