Following his acclaimed performance as Jesus in the hit musical Jesus Christ Superstar, Jeangu Macrooy returns to theatres with his new album ‘Young, Awkward & Lonely’. In this concert of the same name, he sings about the awkwardness of life and his search for connection. The show starts intimately and gradually builds to a large ensemble, in which he is accompanied by his regular band and three singers from the ZO! Gospel Choir. Jeangu broke through in 2017 with his album ‘High On You’ and played at major festivals such as Lowlands. The general public got to know him better through his participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. We are going to enjoy an evening full of personal stories and social themes together in an immersive musical experience.
