He has been travelling the world for over thirty years. Not to capture people as works of art, but to truly connect with them. The British-Dutch photographer Jimmy Nelson is known for his iconic photo essay in National Geographic about his journey through Tibet, his books Before They Pass Away and Homage to Humanity, and the impressive Fabrique des Lumières exhibition The Last Sentinels.

In Through the Human Lens, Jimmy Nelson steps away from behind the camera for the first time. In this theatre performance, he takes you on a journey through the stories, insights and intimate moments that have shaped his work. Especially for De Opening, Jimmy Nelson will be giving an exclusive preview of this performance, which will be staged at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven this autumn. Admission is free, and to be sure of a seat, you can book a ticket straight away for one of the available time slots.
