The legendary American country star Johnny Cash passed away twenty years ago, but his music is still very much alive. A major driving force behind that is the Johnny Cash Roadshow: the English tribute act that sounds so convincing that even Cash’s family speaks of it with great praise. Frontman Clive John doesn’t deliver an imitation; it’s as if he transforms into Cash himself. Together with his band, modeled after Cash’s Tennessee Three, a horn section, and three “Carter Sisters,” he brings an energetic and captivating show that retraces the iconic career of the country legend.
