SYML is the solo project of American singer-songwriter Brian Fennell. The name means ‘simple’ in Welsh, a meaning that aligns seamlessly with his musical approach. With little more than a piano, acoustic guitar, minimal synthesizers and his distinctive, angelic voice, SYML creates an atmosphere that feels both vulnerable and powerful. Following his self-titled debut album, featuring the mega-hit “Where’s My Love,” and his second studio album “The Day My Father Died,” he released “Nobody Lives Here” last year, his clearest and most thoughtfully crafted work to date. For this special concert series, his new music as well as his biggest hits will take on a new dimension in collaboration with the renowned Metropole Orkest, conducted by Jules Buckley.
