“‘They seem like brothers,’ wrote Gramophone about Théotime Langlois de Swarte and Justin Taylor.” The captivating violin/harpsichord duo draws full houses worldwide with their distinctive reinterpretations of both canonical and lesser-known early music gems. They have already dedicated two recordings to other musical sibling pairs. In this baroque recital, they pair the ‘goûts réunis’ practiced by the Francoeur and Eccles families with the entirely unique style of Henry Purcell and the authentic Italian baroque of Arcangelo Corelli.
