Young talent, great names, and music sparkling with promise: that is what the Euregio Youth Orchestra brings together in this special programme. The young musicians take you back to the beginnings of careers that would later change music history. You will hear works by Shostakovich and Rachmaninoff, written when they were still teenagers, yet already unmistakably revealing their exceptional talent. In addition, the compelling film music of Erich Wolfgang Korngold is performed, often regarded as one of the greatest musical prodigies of all time. With this programme, the Euregio Youth Orchestra demonstrates how young talent and great music reinforce one another. It is no coincidence that the orchestra performed in leading concert halls in Vienna in the summer of 2025 and returned as the winner of the international Summa Cum Laude Festival.
