Guido Belcanto
Paviljoen der Menselijke Driften
- Pop
- Levenslied
- Nederlandstalig
- Singer-songwriter
Flemish singer Guido Belcanto, known for his deeply expressive life songs full of melancholy and irony, is coming to MgE with his new theatre concert ‘Paviljoen der Menselijke Driften’. Inspired by the sculpture of the same name by Jef Lambeaux, Belcanto found new material that ties into his recurring themes: love, loss, and what it means to be human. During the evening, he alternates this new work with a selection of his best-known songs, along with a few personal interpretations. It’s not a tightly scripted program, but a concert that flows and shifts with the mood of the moment.
