After the sold-out concert on Fresku’s fortieth birthday, we’re announcing an extra show on December 23 at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven! Rapper Fresku and the Metropole Orkest are teaming up to present their brand-new EP Hand op mijn hart. Here, hip-hop and orchestral music blend beautifully. The renowned Metropole Orkest provides a rich musical foundation of pop, soul, jazz, and Dutch ballads, on top of which Fresku takes his stories to a new, layered level. The EP coming out this year features both new tracks and reworks, and tonight these songs, under the direction of Simon Dobson, will be performed together with Fresku’s biggest hits in an orchestral setting.
