Then visit a public rehearsal of Philzuid and experience the interaction between the conductor and the orchestra! Several times a year, the orchestra opens its doors for a public rehearsal. You will get a close-up look at the rehearsal process and hear how the concert program is practiced. This morning, British conductor Alpesh Chauhan, principal guest conductor of the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker and musical director of the Birmingham Opera Company, will be the guest. He has conducted world-renowned orchestras such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra, and in 2022 was awarded an OBE for his contributions to the arts.
