From a young age, Early James has been immersed in various musical styles like blues, folk, and rock ‘n’ roll, which have greatly influenced his musical development. At fifteen, he learned to play guitar and wrote his first songs, drawing inspiration from the music of Bob Dylan and Tom Waits. With his raw, soulful voice, blended with country, blues, folk, and jazz, he caught the attention of Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys). This led to a contract with Auerbach’s label Easy Eye Sound, under which he released the albums ‘Singing for My Supper’ (2020) and ‘Strange Time To Be Alive (2022)’. A must-hear for enthusiasts, especially live!
