On Wednesday, February 17, 2027, the East Netherlands Symphony Orchestra (ONSO) and the Philips Philharmonic Choir, conducted by Jeppe Moulijn, will transform the Muziekgebouw Eindhoven into an oasis of heavenly sounds. Together they will perform one of the most moving masterpieces of the choral tradition: Edward Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius. This monumental work takes you on the ultimate journey of the human soul. From the last earthly breath to the encounter with the divine, Elgar’s music is so captivating and emotional that it takes your breath away from the very first note.
