For her concert in Eindhoven, she is in good hands: Sir Mark Elder has conducted in all the major opera houses and knows better than anyone how to make great singers shine. Since 2022, he has been the Principal Guest Conductor of the renowned Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the oldest orchestras in the world. Founded in 1765, it has a history of leading artistic directors, including Edvard Grieg. The top orchestra has won several prestigious awards in recent years, such as the Recording of the Year and the Opera Award at the Gramophone Classical Music Awards in 2021.
