The Istanbul/Rotterdam-based singer Min Taka, named after a myth of a vanishing planet, brings her inner world to life with a blend of indie, liquid drum and bass, synth, and hyperpop. Her songs explore themes of identity, belonging, femininity, and connection, with a sound that shifts between intimate softness and explosive electronic energy. Inspired by artists like Charli XCX, Mitski, Caroline Polachek, Cocteau Twins, and Kero Kero Bonito, she released her debut album “Partiyi Durdurun!” in December 2023. With her Turkish and English tracks, she has already shone at festivals like Motel Mozaïque, Le Guess Who, and Popronde. In 2025, she shines at Eurosonic Noorderslag and gets you dancing in her girly-pop universe at M this April during Kaleidoscope!
Schedule
The doors of M open at 9:00 PM, giving you the chance to enjoy a drink and the music of a DJ. Min Taka starts at 10:00 PM and will last until around 11:00 PM. After Min Taka, the DJ will spin for another hour to complete the evening!
