Need a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life? Want to escape the chaos of the city and unwind completely? Or simply enjoy a quiet evening for yourself? Then this Sound & Silence lying-down concert is just what you need. This unique concert experience stimulates the senses – listening while lying down adds a new dimension to how you engage with music. The evening begins with a custom tea ceremony curated by Björn Cocu, Master of Tea, followed by a guided session of meditation and yoga led by Erik Gijselhart from Licht op Yoga. Bring your own yoga mat, cushion, or blanket, and let yourself fully relax as you immerse yourself in Demian Dorelli music.
Demian Dorelli is a pianist and composer whose work is shaped by a wide range of influences, including Keith Jarrett, Madness, Ludovico Einaudi, and opera. His music blends classical, jazz, and minimalist elements, with a strong emphasis on the piano. In 2021, he released Pink Moon: A Journey on Piano, a reinterpretation and tribute to Nick Drake’s iconic album. The album was produced by his long-time friend and collaborator, Alberto Fabris. His upcoming album, My Window, is inspired by window scenes in the works of artists such as David Hockney, Vermeer, and Menzel. In his concerts, Demian performs music from both Pink Moon: A Journey on Piano and My Window, uniquely merging visual art and music into a cohesive and evocative live experience.
