On May 15th, Glenn de Roo will take you on a captivating and diverse guitar journey. Let yourself be swept away by the moving film music from Schindler’s List (1993), The Deer Hunter (1979), and Jeux Interdits (1952). You’ll also enjoy immersive dance music, including Habanera’s and tangos, with well-known pieces like La Cumparsita and Por una cabeza. The concert will be concluded with enchanting Spanish serenades from masters like Enrique Granados and Isaac Albéniz, capturing the essence of the Spanish summer. Glenn de Roo studied classical guitar at the Brabants Conservatorium and the Conservatory of Palma de Mallorca. In addition to his solo concerts, he runs his own teaching practice in Veldhoven and is available as a soloist for orchestra and ensemble works.
