Aina Font & Pablo Suaste bring two musical voices together in a program where color, rhythm, poetry, and imagination meet between France and the Iberian world. Valencian saxophonist Aina Font is known for her innovative, multidisciplinary approach to classical and contemporary music. A Selmer Paris Artist and Vandoren Paris Ambassador, she has performed in world-renowned halls including the Berliner Philharmonie, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, and Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. Dutch-Mexican pianist Pablo Suaste is celebrated for his elegant touch, with Fanfare Magazine calling him a “true poet at the piano.” As an award-winning artist, he has performed across Europe, Mexico, and the United States. Together, they present a vibrant program featuring works by Debussy, Brotons, Obradors, and Amargós, culminating in a tribute to Spanish poet and writer Federico García Lorca.

Our lunchtime concerts are a delight to experience: both literally and figuratively! Taking a break in the middle of the day to relax for an hour with a nice concert in the Small Hall really makes the day feel refreshing. From piano recitals to chamber music and brass ensembles, the offerings are varied and innovative. Since we believe that emerging talent deserves a platform, our lunchtime concerts feature (recently graduated) students, competition winners, and other promising gems.
