Tuareg band Tinariwen is coming to the Effenaar during BRIDGE Guitar Festival Eindhoven! What started around campfires with homemade guitars has grown into a Grammy-winning band with a worldwide fanbase. Their music blends West African and Arabic influences with blues, folk, and rock, telling the story of a nomadic life filled with longing and struggle. One of their latest albums, “Amatssou,” merges desert blues with American country music, weaving banjos, fiddles, and pedal steel into their signature guitar riffs and hypnotic sound.
