The Cologne-based band Keshavara immediately grabs attention with their flamboyant moustaches and striking headpieces. Frontman Keshav Purushotham and his band take you on a journey during this edition of Kaleidoscope with their colorful and adventurous sound, crafted through a unique blend of krautpop, psychedelic soundtracks, and dub-not-dub. On “III,” the third album by the now four-piece band, sweet melodies are fused with rhythms reminiscent of the funky studios of 1970s Beirut. Their music, sung in English, Hindi, and German, effortlessly shifts between enchanting and energetic, feeling like a journey through different worlds—as if you’re listening to a Bollywood soundtrack composed by Ennio Morricone. Get carried away into the surreal universe of Keshavara at Kaleidoscope!
Schedule
The doors of M open at 9:00 PM, giving you the chance to enjoy a drink and the music of a DJ. Keshavara starts at 10:00 PM and will last until around 11:00 PM. After Keshavara, the DJ will spin for another hour to complete the evening!
