The third edition of Work It! @ M is all about jazz. Three young bands from Eindhoven’s Studentproof Jazz will perform: the seven-piece soul/funk/pop band Jazzmine, the newly formed and more traditional jazz band Sun Martin Golzio, and the blues ensemble Down South.
Entry is free for youth. No registration is required.

15:30 – 16:00 – performance by Jazzmine
16:30 – 17:00 – live interview with the bands on RaRa Radio
Between the performances, Denvis and Richard will play records that complement the style of the jazz bands. Afterwards, they will conduct a live interview with the musicians on the RaRA Roadshow, asking them about their musical choices, career paths, and creative processes.
This RaRa radio program will be co-hosted by young people who have participated in the radio workshops through Talent Tuesdays, alongside Denvis and Richard.
Jazzmine
Jazzmine is a dynamic group of seven passionate musicians, each bringing their own musical background to create a unique blend of sounds. Originally formed as a jazz band five years ago, the group’s evolving tastes quickly expanded their repertoire to include soul, blues, funk, and 80s pop. From iconic anthems to hidden gems, their music reflects both genre-defining artists and the lesser-known tracks that have captured their hearts. With a rhythm section that’ll get you dancing and a horn section delivering rich, soulful harmonies, Jazzmine’s performances offer something for everyone, blending energetic, danceable rhythms with softer, more soulful tunes perfect for those who love to listen closely. Whether you’re moving to the groove of our funky tracks, singing along to familiar hits, or enjoying the artistry of improvised solos, each performance showcases a variety of styles and moods that cater to dancers, music lovers, and aspiring musicians alike.

Sun Martin Golzio is a jazz quintet merging the new and old, both musicians and the mysic we play. Bring a fresh new touch on standards or striving for new composition to create a unique sound. We keep on exploring and seeking out ways to touch souls with our dedication to the music we make. Imagination is the key to us for creating any kind of music!

The afternoons of Work It! @ M are packed with various activities, from workshops to live radio. We follow the journey of emerging artists: What does it take, and what really happens behind the scenes? Through workshops, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, RaRaRadio, Pitstop youth center, Denvis, and Switch Youth Care will teach you the ins and outs of the trade. By the end of this series, you’ll be ready to take the stage like a star. Work It! @ M is part of the *Jong Cultuur* program.
