Isabel Pronk

Mezzo-soprano and actress Isabel Pronk takes you on a journey through a night in which the protagonist experiences loneliness and darkness for the first time in a long while. With monologues, written in collaboration with author Amanda Payne, and accompanied by a piano trio, this story is told through music by composers such as Astor Piazzolla, Kurt Weill, and Wende Snijders. According to the Dutch Classical Talent jury report, she ‘tells her story with determination and eagerness’ and has ‘a keen sense for text combined with a touch of theater.’
